Two year old funding:

As part of our aim to help each child receive the best start in life, we offer 2-year-old government funded places at Little Rainbow Nursery. This becomes available the term after your child terms two. This means, (eligibility dependent) we could offer you up to 15 hours of free childcare to support your child in their early development and learning. 

 

If one of the following applies to you, you may be eligible for the funding:

 

1) You receive certain benefits.

2) Your two-year-old is looked after by the Local Authority or has a Child Protection Plan.

3) Your household income is less than or around £16,190.

 

If you believe you may qualify for the 2-year-old funding, please contact nursery to see if we can help you.

Three and four-year-old funding:

The term after your child's 3rd Birthday you will be eligible to access the Free Early Years Entitlement. The current free entitlement that can be claimed is 15 hours per week over 38 weeks.

 

Little Rainbow Nursery are offering places for the Government funded 30 hours free childcare from September 2017 (subject to eligibility).

 

To book your 30 hours free with us you will need to register online at https://childcare-support.tax.service.gov.uk/. You will then receive a code, which we will need along with your National Insurance number and the child’s birth certificate for us to gain the funding. If we do not receive this information unfortunately you will not be able to access the free 30 hours.

 

The 30 free hours are for 38 weeks of the year, this equates to 1140 hours a year.

 

The funding will be accessed by the Nursery on your behalf on the completion of a 'Free Early Years Entitlement Declaration Form' and a copy of your child's birth certificate. 

 

At Little Rainbow Nursery, we aim to be as flexible as possible in the ways you can use your funded hours, while adhering to the following guidelines set out by the local authority:

 

1) Up to 10 hours accessed in 1 day

 

2) A minimum of 2 days to claim the full 15 hours

 

3) More than one provider can access the funded hours per week.
